Word Slots

Objective

Create as many words as you can within the allotted time. Reuse letters whenever possible and take advantage of random bonuses.

Making Words

• Select any letters on the slot reels to create a word.
• Each letter can only be used once.
• Press the Submit button to enter your word and spin the reels.

Spinning

• When you submit a word or the Spin Timer runs out, the reels will spin.
• When the reels spin, all letters except those used in the last submitted word are replaced with new ones.

Leveling Up

• Each time a letter is used in a word, its level increases in the game.
• The letter level determines its additional point value when reused in the game. For example, the letter “A” is worth 1 point. Leveled up once, it’s worth 2x points, then 3x, and so on.
• The maximum level of a letter is 5.
• When the reels spin automatically, you will lose any leveled-up letters!

Beating the Clock

• Submit a word before the Spin Timer runs out.
• The board will spin automatically if you do not submit your word in time.
• The available time on the Spin Timer will decrease as letters on the board increase in level.

Magic Words

• Magic words will appear on the reels randomly.
• You will receive an automatic bonus when a Magic Word appears.

There are six types of Magic Words:

• Freeze (FRE) - Stops the Spin Timer for 10 seconds
• Rewind (RWI) - Resets the Spin Timer to the maximum time limit
• Lots of Levels (LOL) - Promote 6 letters on the screen to the maximum level for 20 seconds.
• Omega (OMG) - The best word on the reels is automatically revealed and scored
• Double (DUB) - Double points for 10 seconds
• Triple (TRP) - Triple points for 5 seconds

Scoring

• The value of each letter is indicated in the bottom left corner.
• The Word Score is determined by multiplying the total value of all letters by their respective multipliers in the word.
• Your final score is equal to the sum of all your word scores.

Tips

• Score points quickly by forming short words in a row!

• Use any letter on the reels to create words. Letters do not need to be next to each other, but each letter can be used only once.

• Used letters will remain on the reels. Focus on reusing one high-value letter, such as K or X, or more commonly used letters, like E, A, and T, to increase word value and level up for more points.

• Double and Triple Bonuses will increase the value of your words for a short amount of time.

• Look out for anagrams! For example, submitting MEAT, followed by TAME and then TEAM, will quickly level up each letter three times!

• You’ll have one last chance to submit a word if you’re in the middle of a spin when the game timer expires.

• You can select letters as soon as their reel stops moving. Type your anagrams quickly!

• Holding a letter on all 4 reels prevents a bonus from appearing. Use this to save bonuses for when you have better letters.

• Did you know you can use your keyboard to type words? Letters are automatically selected based on their value.
